I love your point about the business cards

The real purpose of your card is not so that the person you meet will call you. The purpose of a business card is so that you can lead the exchange to get their card, so that you can call them.

A note about what to put on your card.... When i was running my one one-man Independant Contractor company, I had the inclination to give my self the title "CEO" or "President" or "Ruler of the Free World", when in fact I was more of a "Multimedia Designer & Developer". I learned from an executive friend of mine that severely misrepresentative titles can do more harm than good. Label yourself in relation to the person you are handing the card to.
