    You’re back! Great :)

Definitely guilty of #2! I don’t know about the situation in the states, but in the netherlands the interest you get from the IRS is higher than any savings account :)

And since the interest of the mortgage on the house is deductable, our refund is considerable. We could ask for a monthly refund, but I like to feel the real pain from the mortgage payments. Keeps me sharp.

    Sup Lodewijk!

It’s been quite a while since I saw a tax refund (the perils of being a profitable business owner). House deductions just means I pay less. That said – I don’t really mind tax payments within reason. I paid around 30% give or take when it was all said and done.

I found a pretty interesting ancedote on the topic this afternoon: http://www.billda.com/barstool-economics-on-taxes

    Nice.

    Although I would prefer “deincomization”.

I am #3 today. This is the exact day that I have had. My bank account has been used like a cheap one night stand by the Australian Tax Office today. Not happy!
